At The Human Touch, our goal is to better the individual through the benefits of massage.
An increasing number of research studies show these
benefits include, but are not limited to: a reduction of the heart rate, lowering of blood pressure,
increasing of blood circulation and lymph flow, relaxation of muscles, improvment of range of motion, and an increase
of endorphins (enhancing medical treatment). Although therapeutic massage does not increase muscle strength, it can stimulate
weak, inactive muscles and, thus, partially compensate for the lack of exercise and inactivity resulting from illness or injury.
